Finding the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Getting the best rental home value:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for local accommodations and attractions.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Oceanfront End-Condo w\/ Retro Game Console, Pools has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available online. Otherwise, contact the property owner before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs applied to your agreement.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Tips for a fantastic stay:

  • We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, record any problem areas upon check in. Contact the property manager immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
