How to book the best vacation property experience:
When to go & When to book:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Reserve your rental property in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property management companies often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Filter your rental search:
- Select a group lead, select your dates, and choose a max budget.
- M2207 has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before booking the rental. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
- Looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the host right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local attractions.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a wonderful stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
