Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • To find the best value, consider changing your family's Myrtle Beach vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Filter your search:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Cozy 2-bedroom condo overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before you book the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what is optimal for your trip.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you love, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your phone.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your home life. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on great reviews to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
