Cost saving strategies:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To book the largest vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Booking websites usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a excellent vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
