The search for your next beach vacation stops here! Take a look at this oceanfront 8th floor studio unit with two queen beds located in the Tides building of the Sea Mist Resort! This space is ideal for a modest family or group of friends.
As of 2025, the entire unit was repainted with warm and welcoming colors, really transforming this space!
This unit features a kitchen with a full size refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold. There is a stove and oven in the space as well, and the cabinets are outfitted with all basic cookware and cooking silverware. There is also a microwave. Everything you need to prepare a meal or a modest snack will be simple to do right from the room! For guests who prefer to dine out, Myrtle Beach has hundreds of fantastic dining options within a short walk, drive, or Uber. Uber Eats, DoorDash, and other food delivery services are very fashionable in this area.
Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, linens, and linens are supplied. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths per bathroom. While the Sea Mist is a 65 year-old complex, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really appreciate the space, and we appreciate the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.
Due to guest feedback, we have freshly lowered the cleaning fee! The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid staying cleaning requests for a modest fee.
We are confident that you are going to appreciate this rental and the location. It is really one-of-a-kind, and we are very excited to have you as our guest! Please keep in mind that this rental is privately owned and managed, and we have no affiliation with the resort staff, resort maintenance, or resort housekeeping. Should you have any maintenance or housekeeping needs, or have any questions, be sure to reach out to us directly so we can help!
(please note that the mini waterpark across street and movie theater are not available to our guests)
Free Wi-Fi and cable are available
Our guests currently have access to the outdoor pool located on the south side of the Oats Building. Pool hours are subject to change. Weather and season could also result in pool closures.

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Getting the most from your rental home budget:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. To get the best value, change your family's Myrtle Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Choosing and booking yourrental:
- Start by choosing a vacation week and a budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Direct Oceanfront Double Queen Suite! Stunning Ocean Views! Sleeps 4! Sea Mist 20802 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the host before booking your rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
- Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach beach you long to visit, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
Have a fantastic stay:
- Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
- At Check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a great vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
