Past guests really appreciate the space, and we savor the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.
Due to guest feedback, we have newly lowered the cleaning fee! The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid staying cleaning requests for a modest fee.
We are confident that you are going to adore this rental and the location. It is really one-of-a-kind, and we are very excited to have you as our guest! Tricks and tips for getting the perfect rental home experience:
When to go & When to book:
- Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To get the most suitable rental home for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines contain discounts for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Choose dates and max budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your family needs. Direct Oceanfront Double Queen Suite! Stunning Ocean Views! Sleeps 4! Sea Mist 20802 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking websites. If not, contact the host before you book your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.
Considerations for your stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the host immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your life at home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a wonderful time? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
