Located on the 9th floor of the Tides Building, the view from the balcony is striking, and many of our guests have spotted dolphins!

As of March 2024, this unit had some marvelous updates done! We could not be more excited to share them with you. For starters, the entire unit was repainted with warm and welcoming colors throughout. All new LVP floor was also installed throughout! In the kitchen, brand new cabinets were installed. New granite countertops were also installed in the kitchen and bathroom! Lately, all new light fixtures, and décor were added throughout.

The kitchen is entirely outfitted with basic cookware, silverware, dishes and cups, and everything you'll need to prepare! For guests who prefer to dine out, Myrtle Beach has hundreds of exceptional dining options within a short drive or Uber. Uber Eats, Door Dash, Postmates, and Grubhub have become very fashionable and convenient options as well.

Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, linens, and linens are supplied. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths per bathroom.

While the Sea Mist is a 65 year-old complex, we have went above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really appreciate the space, and we savor the fact that they treat it as if it were there own.

Sea Mist also offers many indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, sauna, onsite eateries, giant arcade, and even more amenities for you and your family to appreciate before calming in this gorgeous unit. (Please note that the mini waterpark across street and movie theater are not available to our guests.)

The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid staying cleaning requests for a modest fee.

While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our prices reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!

Free Wi-Fi and cable are available.
Smoking AND Vaping are not allowed.
Our guests currently have access to the outdoor pool located on the south side of the Oats Building. Pool hours are subject to change. Weather and season could also result in pool closures.
Effective 3/24/2024, the HOA at Sea Mist Resort has started charging $20/day for parking. If you are charged for parking during your stay and you are the registered guest. Please provide us with the receipt you received from the front desk, we will be happy to reimburse you for these charges.

Strategies to get the best rental home experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • To get the most suitable rental within budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines have deals for local shops and restaurants.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Choose vacation week and spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Newly Renovated Double Queen Suite-Direct Oceanfront-Sea Mist 20908 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you book the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.

Tips to have a great stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas during arrival. Speak to the host right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of difficulties.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a wonderful stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
