Delightful location on the golden mile of Myrtle Beach. Steps from the beach, with a striking view from the balcony. Appreciate heated pools, hot tubs, lazy river, on-site restaurant, exercise center, racquetball court, game room, and complimentary covered parking. Close to numerous golf courses, shopping, and family entertainment options. The kitchen is equipped for dining in. If you prefer to venture out, there are countless options to satisfy your palate. In addition to 3 beds, the couch is a queen sleeper. Savor coffee on the balcony and watch the sunrise.
The space
This is a 2BR condo on the 5th floor of Beach Colony Resort. The balcony provides an ocean view to capture sunrises and the beauty of the waves. Access the private balcony from the living room or primary bedroom. Sleeping accommodations include 1 King bed in the primary bedroom, 2 Double beds in the second bedroom, and 1 Queen sleeper in the living room. The kitchen includes basic cookware, dishes, silverware, a dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and 2 coffee makers: traditional filtered ground coffee and a K-cup option. Feel complimentary to bring the coffee option you want. Myrtle Beach is casual, but if you need an iron and ironing board, it is available. Each of the three intelligent T.V.s have cable and WIFI is complimentary, as well. We will provide a starter set of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Each registered guest will have 2 towels and a wash cloth. There are hairdryers in both of the bathrooms. There are numerous elevators, as well as 2 stairwells. Park on the 5th floor for simple access to the condo, unless you drive a truck. Trucks are limited to the first floor due to height restrictions. Motorcycles and trailers are prohibited. Please bring your own beach towels. We have a washer and dryer in the condo, for added convenience.
Guest access
You will have full access to the condo, balcony, and all of the Beach Colony amenities, as well as the parking garage (cars and trucks, only). In short, there are pools, hot tubs, hammocks, a exercise center, game rooms, the Snack Shack, a boutique, convenience store, and beach access. You may also savor corn hole boards, a library, business center, a restaurant, a shell-washing station, foot rinse, and outdoor showers. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pools. In the unit, you will have full closets and dressers that allow you to move in and live comfortably, not out of your suitcase or duffle bag! (We have one owners supply closet that remains locked.) Guests have access to a private balcony overlooking the lazy river and all of the resort amenities. We provide a washer and dryer, along with kitchen appliances and silverware, WIFI, and 3 intelligent TVs.
Accessibility: From the 5th floor parking lot, there is a short ramp to our hallway and unit. The elevators provide access to the ground floor and pools. There is a boardwalk from the poolside patio to the beach.
Other things to note
The parking garage accommodates trucks on the first floor only. There is no parking for motorbikes or trailers. When you arrive, park in front and take the elevators to the 5th floor. Use the keyless entry to checkin. You will find a parking pass on the counter. Take the parking pass down and leave it in a visible spot on your car during your stay. Carefully move through the garage to the 5th floor. The mirrors will help you identify oncoming traffic.

Strategies to get the very best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- To get the largest vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which often include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Narrow your Search:
- Begin by selecting your vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. New Listing! Golden Mile Oceanside Condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property management company before you reserve the rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out what bed configuration is best for your vacation group.
- Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
Additional considerations:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your phone.
- Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Be respectful. Often, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
- Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
