We have no interest in keeping money without delivering a service! If you need to cancel last min., we will do our best to (1) rebook you at a time that works for both of us; and if that is not possible (2) try to fill your original reservation and return your money to you. We try to be as flexible as possible, balancing the fact that last min. cancellations leave us no chance to book with someone else.
Sorry to be this stringent, we literally had 3 people cancel longer-term reservations at the last min. over the past 2-years and lost renting those weeks/month (frustrating). We recommend buying trip insurance if you are very concerned about cancelling.

Tips to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
When to go & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- Summer is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your Myrtle Beach rental home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites typically offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Selecting the perfect rental in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Choose a group leader, select your vacation week, and choose a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Golf and Beach Getaway in Myrtle Beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If your family is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property managers charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you crave, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
More considerations for your visit:
- Add the property manager's information to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Note any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to stimulate new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
