Tips and Tricks to get the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best value, try changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
- Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain coupons for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Finding the perfect vacation rental in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Select a group lead, select your vacation dates, and choose a spending budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Gorgeous Oceanfront 1 Bedroom King has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before you book the vacation property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a rental that allows animals. Request details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you are enamored with, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
Advice for a great stay:
- Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many difficulties.
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
- At Check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a great vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
