Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Start by having your group agree to the best dates and a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Holiday Shores Queen Suite has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property owner before reserving the home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.

Have a great stay:
- Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would back home.
- Upon arrival, document any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!

- When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great ratings to drive new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review.
