While the Sea Mist is a 65-year old complex, we went above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really adore the space, and we appreciate the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.
The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid-stay cleaning requests for a modest fee.
While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our prices reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!
Free Wi-Fi and Cable are available.
Smoking AND Vaping are not allowed.
Our guests currently have access to the outdoor pool located on the south side of the Oats Building. Pool hours are subject to change. Weather and season could also result in pool closures.

Tricks and tips to get the very best vacation property experience:
Getting the best value:
- Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
- Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
How to select the perfect rental home:
- Start by having your group select date ranges and a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. King studio -ocean view! Sea mist 51012 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property owner before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what is right for your group.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach beach you crave, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
- Some rentals allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
Have a great stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
- Upon check-in, document any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many problems.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a terrific stay? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
