Tricks and tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Get the most from your spending budget:
- The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Selecting the best vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Begin by choosing potential vacation weeks and a budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Landmark Of Luxury - 1037 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available online. Otherwise, call the property owner before booking the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If your family is bringing pets, you must book a rental that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
Have a great stay:
- Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of issues.
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would at home.
- Upon arrival, record any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a excellent time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
