How to book the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- To book the largest rental within budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides have discounts for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
How to choose the best rental:
- First, have your family decide on date ranges and a max budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Largest Indoor Water Park - Direct Oceanfront One-Bedroom - Great Views has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible online. If not, email or call the property manager before you reserve the property. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you love, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
More tips for your stay:
- Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
- To make certain no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the rental manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many problems.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
