Tips for getting the best vacation rental experience:

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. To book the most suitable rental home within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself.
