Tips and Tricks to get the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Getting the most from your rental home budget:
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Selecting and booking the perfect Myrtle Beach rental home:
- To start, have your group agree to trip dates and a budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Marvelous Oceanview Suite\/Dogs OK! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property manager before booking the property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is suitable for your family.
- Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or charges applied to your agreement.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you love, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
During your stay:
- Put the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few issues.
- Lock your vacation home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. text the rental manager right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent resource to find the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave a review! Hosts rely on great reviews to stimulate future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
