Resort policy accepts for one parking space per condo. Motorcycles are allowed to park in the parking garage; however, trailers and golf carts are not.

Resort Location:
Meridian Plaza is located at 2310 N. Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. It's a short, painless walk to the Convention Center, gobs of great eateries & bars, Starbucks, ice cream stores, miniature golf and is about a 10-15 min. walk to the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, Sky Wheel & CCMF. It's about a 10-15 min. drive from the airport, numerous golf courses and both Tanger outlet malls.

The City of Myrtle Beach is rerouting storm water and building a pier in front of the resort next to Meridian. We are excited for both initiatives; however, there are some growing pains associated with these improvements - ie construction. As a modest, local business owner, I extend heartfelt gratitude for your support while the city works to better Myrtle Beach and have reduced my listed prices by over 15% from last year and am offering an additional 10% off weekly units. Please reach out with any questions.

Guest Access:
The resort features two step-complimentary entrances, accessible 24/7 with a four-digit code supplied to guests on their arrival day. Guests have full access to all resort amenities, including common areas, elevators, a laundromat, and an ice machine. The condo itself is equipped with a keyless lock, and the entry code will be shared once the condo is ready.

There aren't any stairs required for entry into the building or condo; however, the condo's hallways, doorways and bathroom facilities are not wheelchair accessible.

The Neighborhood:
So much to do (and eat!) within walking distance of this condo! The Convention Center is less than a half mile away. Starbucks, SOHO, bagel stores, Tin Roof, Lu Lu's, Harry's, Donald's, Sea Captain's House - all within a few short blocks - eat your heart out!

Other Things to Note:
We do not have a washing machine or dryer inside the condo; however, the resort offers a pay-per-use laundromat onsite adjacent to the indoor pool. The machines accept coin payment as well as payments using an app.
The resort has ice and drink machines located on the north side of the building and an onsite convenience store selling drinks, alcoholic beverages, snacks & beach & travel essentials.

Interaction with Guests:
Though I do not live onsite, you are welcome to message me through Airbnb with any questions! Airbnb will allow sharing of my phone number once a reservation is confirmed.

Strategies to get the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:

Get the best value:

  • Booking in Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides have coupons for local tours and attractions.

Selecting the best vacation home:

  • Select a group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. OVKing, New HVAC, Wkly Discounts, Exc Walkability has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available online. Otherwise, contact the host before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish which bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • Does your group require special amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.

Have a great stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your stay, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Get in touch with the host immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
