Tips to get the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to pick the best vacation rental:

- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. A105 Myrtle Beach Resort Spectacular Ocean Front Condo has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible online. If not, contact the property owner before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach beach you are crazy about, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Get specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
Know before you go:
- Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, record any problem areas during arrival. message the host immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of difficulties.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
- Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
