Myrtle Beach rental booking tips:

When to visit Myrtle Beach & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Finding the best vacation home in Myrtle Beach:

  • Choose a designated group leader, choose your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. A105 Myrtle Beach Resort Spectacular Ocean Front Condo has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the host before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. message the host right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent resource to find the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to inspire future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
