The search for your next vacation rental ends here! Check out this 8th floor, freshly refreshed ocean-view vacation rental at the Sea Mist Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. This ocean view condo is entirely furnished with everything you need for your next vacation. This apartment features 1 king bed, 1 twin size sleeper couch, and will comfortably accommodate 3 guests. The unit is also furnished with a dresser, TV with basic cable, AC and Heat, mini kitchen, private bathroom with tub/shower and vanity, as well as a private ocean view balcony. This is a ideal rental for a couple, a group of friends, or a modest family! Located on the 8th floor of the Driftwood Building, the view from the balcony is gorgeous, and many of our guests have spotted dolphins and elegant sunsets!

As of 2024, this unit has been updated and we could not be more excited to share with you! For starters, new floor was installed throughout the entire unit. A majority of the furnishings in the unit was refinished, giving the unit a fresh look! A new table was also added.

This rental features some unique updates that many others simply do not have. This condo offers a full kitchen, and our guests appreciate the upsized countertop space, as well as the additional cabinets for storage. This unit really feels like a home away from home!

The kitchen is completely outfitted with basic cookware, silverware, dishes and cups, and everything you'll need to prepare! Guests will have access to a full-size refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, kitchen sink, and more. For guests who prefer to dine out, Myrtle Beach has hundreds of fantastic dining options within a short drive or Uber. Uber Eats, DoorDash, and other food delivery services are very fashionable in this area.

Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, linens, and linens are included. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths per bathroom.

While the Sea Mist is a 65-year-old complex, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really adore the space, and we savor the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.

Sea Mist also offers many indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, a sauna, a restaurant, a giant arcade, and even more amenities for you and your family to appreciate before calming in this pretty unit. (Please note that the mini waterpark across street, all water amenities, and movie theater are not available to our guests.)

The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid-stay cleaning requests for a modest fee.

While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our prices reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!

Free Wi-Fi is available.
Smoking AND Vaping are not allowed.
Our guests currently have access to the outdoor pool located on the south side of the Oats Building. Pool hours are subject to change. Weather and season could also result in pool closures.

Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose and book a perfect Myrtle Beach rental:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your trip dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Newly Updated Oceanview King Suite - Sea Mist 50809 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the host before you book the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to work out what is right for your vacation group.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Additional considerations:

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Upon arrival, document any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your life at home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to compel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
