Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.

Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
