Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Reserve your Myrtle Beach vacation in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property management companies usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself.
