Our oceanfront condo has tiled floors throughout, a roomy living room w/sizable Intelligent TV, and sliders to the enormous balcony. Strategies for getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Sticking to your budget:
- The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Myrtle Beach vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Select vacation dates and spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Oceanfront New Listing! Convenient to Beach & Pool, Beachy Decor, Newly Updated! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before reserving the property. - If your family is traveling with pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach beach you love, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
Considerations for your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of problems.
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would back home.
