Welcome to Ocean Creek Resort and our freshly purchased oceanfront 2BR/2BA condo, B1. We are located in the North Tower of Ocean Creek Resort. Ocean Creek Resort is a 57 acre, gated resort across the street from Barefoot Landing. We are conveniently located on the 1st floor just off the upper lobby (technically the 2nd floor as we have a ground floor lobby). We have solid balcony panels vs railings for added tranquility of mind for those guests with modest kids. The first floor offers painless access to the beach and pool as well as convenient parking on the upper deck!

Our oceanfront condo has tiled floors throughout, a cavernous living room w/enormous Intelligent TV, and sliders to the huge balcony. The kitchen has been completely refreshed with new maple cabinets, granite countertops, two lazy susans, and storage pantry. We removed the wet bar to provide additional counter space and give the kitchen a modern, open look. Kitchen has been overstocked with dinnerware and cookware. The dining area is convenient to the kitchen and will seat six comfortably.

The master bedroom has all new furnishings, new king bed with deluxe bed, Intelligent TV and all new linens. Wall to wall glass sliders for access to the balcony and entirely modernized En Suite master bath with walk in shower. The guest bedroom has all new furnishings, 2 new twin beds with deluxe beds, Intelligent TV and all new linens. The En Suite bath is very roomy and has a tiled walk in shower.

Our top Vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

Find your perfect rental home:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation home in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning, selecting, and booking yourvacation home:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration you need. Oceanfront New Listing! Convenient to Beach & Pool, Beachy Decor, Newly Updated! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. If not, email the property management company before you reserve the property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a property that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • Does your group require special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental

Advice for a great stay:

  • Add the host's contact info to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To ensure that damages are not linked to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. message the rental manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be respectful. Often, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
