Strategies for getting the best rental home experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To book the largest rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local accommodations and attractions.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose your dates and max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. DELUXE Oceans One 4th Floor 1 bed 1 bath w Dishwasher AND Laundry Myrtle Beach has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is normally available on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the host before reserving your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Is your group looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or charges might be applied to your contract.

Advice for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • During arrival, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to propel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
