The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. Tips and Tricks to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Sticking to a rental budget:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Booking your vacation rental in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to choose and book a perfectrental:
- Start by selecting vacation dates and a spending budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Sea Mist Resort 51206 - Ocean View! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Some rental properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask your host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Have a wonderful stay:
- Be sure you get the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
- Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Upon check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a terrific stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
