Tricks and tips to get the optimal Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Get the most from your vacation rental budget:
- Summertime is high season in Myrtle Beach. To book the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property management companies typically offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain discounts for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Planning and choosing your prefect Myrtle Beach rental:
- Begin by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. One Bedroom Suite at The Landmark Resort Unit 347 has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking pages. If not, email the host before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish which bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
