Tricks and tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Get the most from your rental budget:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. To find the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family.
- Property management companies usually offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

- Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective.
