About this Property

How she got her name....from the time I was a little girl and we'd go on our annual beach trip, my Daddy would get in the car and ask "Who's two hands excited to go see the Big O. We would all raise our hands and scream "Two Hands". Then he'd say, "I'm so excited, I have to sit on my hands to keep from clapping". This tradition continued through my kids and now my huge kids. So, this past Christmas soon after I bought this cute bungalow, the whole family was sitting around trying to come up with the ideal name. And my sweet 91 yr old Daddy, raised his hands and screamed...."Who's Two Hands Excited"? We all knew at that moment, she could go by no other name.

I have freshly modernized this bungalow located at U21 and it's never been on the rental program. It offers all new furnishings, beds, floor and deck. It's located on a impressive peaceful dead end street.

The master bedroom offers a queen bed with a private bath with a shower. The guest room offers a full over full bunk bed. I also added constructed in kids bunk beds in the hallway. There is another full bath in the hall. The den is cavernous with an open concept to the kitchen.

The deck offers new Polywood furnititure with seating for 6. There is also a washer and dryer in the shed. You can also savor a hot private shower outside. There is ample parking for 3 cars.

This is a NO pet home. I offer a complimentary golf cart for drivers over the age of 24. I also provide quality linens at no additional cost.

How to find the best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. To find the best rental home within your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Narrow your Search:

  • To start, have your group agree to the best dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Please welcome \"Two Hands Excited\" to the Ocean Lakes rental program. has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property owner before you book the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
  • Does your group require unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Some properties allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the owner about allowable breeds and types before booking.

During your stay:

  • Put the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Record any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to propel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
