How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Find your perfect rental home:
- Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- First, have your group select trip dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Radiant and bright condo in the center of MB has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, contact the property owner before you reserve your home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you love, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
- If your family is traveling with pets, you must book a pet-friendly property. Request specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts charge additional pet fees.
More tips for your visit:
- We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- During check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic resource to find the best local spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition.
- Did you have a great time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
