How to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
Sticking to your spending plan:
- To find the best rental within budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
- The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines have coupons for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
