What to Expect During the Renovation: Minimizing Disruptions
We understand the importance of a calming, enchanting stay for our guests, even as we make these improvements. That’s why our resort will remain open throughout the renovation period. Renovations will begin in early October and are expected to finish by the end of March. We’re working floor by floor in both the Dominican and Cayman buildings, ensuring the least amount of disruption.

Here’s what you can expect during this time:

Construction will only take place during normal business hours, and any noise will be kept to a minimum.
Common areas such as the lobby, exercise center, and game room may be temporarily closed, but we’re doing everything we can to offer alternative amenities when possible.

Getting the best value:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Booking in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
