Our top Myrtle Beach rental property booking tips and tricks:

Money saving strategies:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and picking a perfectrental home:

  • Choose your vacation week and spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Serene Ocean View King Bed 4th Fl & Accessibility has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If not, call the property manager before you book your home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .

Tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your .
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To make sure that damages aren't linked to your visit, make a record of any problem areas during check in. Contact the rental manager right away to document your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
