Tricks and tips to get the perfect rental home experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:
- Reserve your Myrtle Beach vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself.
