Perched on the 4th floor, the vistas are simply spectacular—not too high, not too low, just the ideal vantage point for watching the waves roll in. The living room features a dining area, queen-sized sleeper couch, accent chairs, and end tables. A brand-new 50-inch intelligent TV is also included for your entertainment. The electric fireplace adds a cozy ambiance, and from here, you can step out onto the ocean view balcony, which has been outfitted with new outdoor seating, ideal for enjoying the breeze and vistas.
The kitchen is just off the living area, and it's equipped with everything you need for a anxiety-complimentary stay. Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Sticking to a rental home budget:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the largest rental home for your budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guides have discounts for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Selecting the best rental home:
- First and foremost, have your family commit to the best dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Updated Ocean View 2 Bedroom Condo-With Fireplace and more! Palace 408 has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking pages. If not, contact the property manager before booking the vacation home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
- Are you looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
- Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
Considerations for your stay:
- Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, record any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the host right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local beaches.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
- When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
