Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • To get the largest rental home within budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and pick the best Myrtle Beach vacation home:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration you need. Sun and Sand Queen Efficiency 10th Floor has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you long to visit, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • At Check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
