Myrtle Beach rental home tips:
How to get the best rental value:
- The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
- Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To book the most suitable rental for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides have coupons for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
How to choose and book a perfectrental home:
- Begin by selecting your trip dates and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Surfside Suite Sanctuary: By the Shore Delight has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If not, call the property owner before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you crave, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
More tips for your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many difficulties.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
- To make certain no damages are linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the host right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to inspire new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
