Tricks and tips to get the best vacation property experience:

When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your Myrtle Beach rental property in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Finding the best vacation home in Myrtle Beach:

  • Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Tranquil Retreat: 1 Bedroom King Suite 2nd Floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you book the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is best for your vacation.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you are crazy about, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly rental. Get specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • To make sure that no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the rental manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of problems.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
