FAQ:
Q: 'Why the high cleaning fee?'
A: We believe in 2 things: clean rooms and low nightly prices. We actually pay more than we charge to clean the room. By helping to cover the cost of our professional cleanser, we can ensure a clean room outfitted with starter amenities and fresh linens each time! Because of the higher cleaning fee, we try to keep our nightly rates lower.
Q: 'Can I Check-In Early?'
A: MAYBE – Our cleaners offer a very limited number of priority check-ins each day that would allow guests to arrive at noon. The cost is $50 and they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to add this to your booking, please message us and we will provide additional instructions.
Q: 'Can I Check-Out Late?'
A: MAYBE – This depends on the availability of the unit and if there is a person renting the unit right after you. If you would like to Check-Out Late, please message us 1 day in advance and we will let you know what is possible.
Q: 'Are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, or infant furnishings supplied?'
A: NO - Due to damage/loss of these items in the past, the need to maximize storage space for guests, and the varied needs of guests, we do not provide these items. However, there are multiple great rental companies in the Myrtle Beach area. In Myrtle Beach, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas from the lifeguards on the beach during the summer season.
Q: 'Are bath towels and sheets supplied?'
A: YES – We provide clean sheets for the 2 beds and also 1 bath towel and wash cloth per the occupant. We do not allow bath towels to be taken to the beach, so please make arrangements for beach/pool towels.
Q: 'Are there pool arm bands?'
A: MAYBE - Pool arm bands are only required during peak season. During this time, you should receive one band per person staying in the unit. Please be sure to provide an accurate count when booking or you may not be supplied with enough.
Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?'
A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat the property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash & take out any excess that won’t fit in the cans, and wash your dishes before you leave. We do not expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but we do ask that you tidy up after yourself with those few items that are not included in the cleaning fee.
Q: 'Do you allow family pets?'
A: NO, sorry - Family Animals are not allowed at this resort per our HOA bylaws.
Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?'
A: NO, sorry – SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke or if we find that you have tampered with the smoke detectors to hide that smoking has occurred, it will result in a minimum $250 charge.
Q: 'Are there pots/pans/dishes?'
A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty modest appliance you savor, please feel complimentary to bring it along.
Q: 'Is/Are there food/condiments/coffee filters?'
A: NO - This is a self catering unit. While we will leave condiments and coffee filters in the cupboard that prior guests leave behind, we can’t guarantee that those things will be in the unit. Other types of food items left behind are disposed of at the checkout cleaning.
Q: 'Are there any hidden costs?'
A: NO - There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort costs. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay.

How to book the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
How to get the best value:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Selecting the best vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Select a group lead, select your dates, and choose a budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your group requires. *Turtle Myrtle* Condo w\/ Ocean Views has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property owner before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property owners charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you are crazy about, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
Advice for your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
- At Check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
