FAQ:
Q: 'Why the high cleaning fee?'
A: We believe in 2 things: clean rooms and low nightly prices. We actually pay more than we charge to clean the room. By helping to cover the cost of our professional cleanser, we can ensure a clean room supplied with starter amenities and fresh linens each time! Because of the higher cleaning fee, we try to keep our nightly rates lower.
Q: 'Can I Check-In Early?'
A: MAYBE – Our cleaners offer a very limited number of priority check-ins each day that would allow guests to arrive at noon. The cost is $50 and they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to add this to your booking, please message us and we will provide additional instructions.
Q: 'Can I Check-Out Late?'
A: MAYBE – This depends on the availability of the unit and if there is a person renting the unit right after you. If you would like to Check-Out Late, please message us 1 day in advance and we will let you know what is possible.
Q: 'Are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, or infant furnishings included?'
A: NO - Due to damage/loss of these items in the past, the need to maximize storage space for guests, and the varied needs of guests, we do not provide these items. However, there are multiple great rental companies in the Myrtle Beach area. In Myrtle Beach, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas from the lifeguards on the beach during the summer season.
Q: 'Are bath towels and sheets supplied?'
A: YES – We provide clean sheets for the 2 beds and also 1 bath towel and wash cloth per the occupant. We do not allow bath towels to be taken to the beach, so please make arrangements for beach/pool towels.
Q: 'Are there pool arm bands?'
A: MAYBE - Pool arm bands are only required during peak season. During this time, you should receive one band per person staying in the unit. Please be sure to provide an accurate count when booking or you may not be included with enough.
Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?'
A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat the property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash & take out any excess that won’t fit in the cans, and wash your dishes before you leave. We do not expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but we do ask that you tidy up after yourself with those few items that are not supplied in the cleaning fee.
Q: 'Do you allow family pets?'
A: NO, sorry - Family Animals are not allowed at this resort per our HOA bylaws.
Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?'
A: NO, sorry – SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke or if we find that you have tampered with the smoke detectors to hide that smoking has occurred, it will result in a minimum $250 charge.
Q: 'Are there pots/pans/dishes?'
A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty modest appliance you savor, please feel complimentary to bring it along.
Q: 'Is/Are there food/condiments/coffee filters?'
A: NO - This is a self catering unit. While we will leave condiments and coffee filters in the cupboard that prior guests leave behind, we can’t guarantee that those things will be in the unit. Other types of food items left behind are disposed of at the checkout cleaning.
Q: 'Are there any hidden costs?'
A: NO - There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort costs. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay.

Tricks and tips to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Get the best rental value:
- To find the best value, try shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Look for your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby accommodations and attractions.
Make a plan and pick your Myrtle Beach rental home:
- First, have your group select a vacation week and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. *Turtle Myrtle* Condo w\/ Ocean Views has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property manager before you reserve the home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Are you visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
Considerations for your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Record any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if there is a dispute.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a fantastic stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
