Myrtle Beach attractions are all conveniently accessible. We appreciate our neighborhood &. that the building, grounds, & amenities are carefully maintained. The ocean view from our giant window wall is striking 24/7. Our 12th floor private balcony is a 2d living room all year. Our reno goal was for a light, open space with far more room than usual oceanfront property in Myrtle Beach. We focused on style and comfortable space for guests & their things. The kitchen is completely furnished so that you can feel at home for a few days or a year. We plan to live here at least 6 months per year after retirement so we planned it to live well. You can judge a resort by its attention to details - like plantings. The succulent garden atop the wall by the poolside walk is striking, and all the palm trees are handsome. Elevators are fast & handsome. You don’t leave the building to get to your car! Beach access incredibly nice. The pools & hot tub are great. We want you to want to return. This is home!

Strategies for getting the perfect vacation rental experience:
Sticking to a rental home budget:
- To get the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
- Property managers often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Selecting and booking the best Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- To start, have your family decide on date ranges and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. Upscale 2023 Reno; Introductory Rates! Oceanfron, King bed,65”tv, View!Location! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible online. Otherwise, reach out to the host before you book the property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
- Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
- If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
More considerations:
- Store the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Note any issues with the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a wonderful stay? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
