Tricks and tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach rental experience:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Narrow your Search:
- Select your dates and spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Welcome to Magnolia Pointe 4887-103- located at Myrtlewood Golf Resort has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you book the property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what is suitable for your vacation.
- Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
- Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.
Some things to know before you go:
- Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- At Check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many issues.
- Respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
