Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. - Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective.
