How to find the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental property in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain deals for nearby tours and attractions.
How to pick the perfect vacation rental:
- Start by choosing your trip dates and a max budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. 1037 Azure Bliss. Oceanfront Condo. Sleeps 6. has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If not, call the property owner before you book your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Get details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, hosts charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you simply love, keep an eye out for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Some things to know before you go:
- Get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the property manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to propel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
