As you approach Harbour Lights, the tree-lined drive and lighthouse invite you to a world without care. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway less than five miles from the beach, the resort is an extravagant oceanside-style community. Colorful pastel buildings, nautical villa decor and a wrap-around porch at the clubhouse exude our low-country appeal.
There’s plenty to do at Harbour Lights without even venturing to the close by Grandiose Strand. Bicycle or walk along gorgeous winding roads. Float effortlessly along our lazy river or bathe yourself in a coastal Carolina sunset from the hot tub.
Don’t feel like going to the beach? Then spend the day with the kids at the pool and our poolside bar, Knot’s (open seasonally). Unwind with a “Key Lime Pie Smoothie” or a “South Carolina Tea" while the kids appreciate frozen fruit smoothies. And be sure to take a look at our food menu for great appetizers and combo meals or have an “I’m on Vacation Sundae.”
Our broad activities program, either at the pool or in the kids’ clubroom, will entertain the kids year-round. Young ones can cool off from the summer heat by splashing around in the kiddie pool that has a fountain.
Harbour Lights is located within driving distance of outlet malls, terrific theaters, live entertainment and golf courses.

Tricks and tips for getting the perfect vacation home experience:
Getting the best rental home value:
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
- Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for nearby shops and restaurants.
Filter your rental search:
- Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. 2 Bedroom (1 King & 2 Queen beds) 2 Bath Resort Condo with Lots of Amenities has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve your rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your group.
- If your family is traveling with pets, search for a pet-friendly property. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would back home.
- During check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Be respectful. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
