Tips to get the very best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to select the perfect vacation rental in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Start by selecting your vacation dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. 2nd Floor Partial Coast View Studio w\/ AC, Pool\/Hot Tub, WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If not, reach out to the host before booking the vacation property. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to work out what is suitable for your family.
  • Looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges applied to your contract.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the host's contact info to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To make certain damages are not linked to your visit, record any problem areas upon check in. E-mail the rental manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
