How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • To get the best value, shift your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby shops and restaurants.

Filter your search:

  • Select a group leader, select your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. 3br Presidential Condo Luxury on Myrtle Beach has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before you book the vacation home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is suitable for your family.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a specific Myrtle Beach destination you love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .

Additional considerations:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of difficulties.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a wonderful vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
