Tips and Tricks to get the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfect Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Start by choosing trip dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. 3rd Floor Oceanfront Room Beachfront Getaway has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • If there's a specific Myrtle Beach beach you long to visit, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners charge additional pet fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the host's information to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
