Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
Finding your best deal:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitors guides have coupons for nearby accommodations and attractions.
Finding the perfect rental:
- Select your vacation week and max budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. 5th Flr :1 Bedroom King Suite Stunning Scenery has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rental home search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before booking the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly rental. Get information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
- Is your family looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
Advice for a terrific stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of difficulties.
- Lock your rental while you're out. Protect your property!
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. text the host immediately to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Be a good neighbor. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
