You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning and picking yourrental:
- To start, have your family agree to dates and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration you need. 7th Floor Beachfront Getaway in Two Bedroom Bliss has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking pages. If not, email or call the host before you book your home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
More tips for your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas during check in. Speak to the host immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback.
