Strategies to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. To book the most suitable rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
- Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Finding the perfect vacation rental:
- Choose dates and spending budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Amazing Atlantica Condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible online. Otherwise, call the property manager before you reserve your home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your group.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach destination you are crazy about, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
More considerations for your visit:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
- To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. Speak to the property manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of difficulties.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
- Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
