How to find the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides contain coupons for local shops and restaurants.

Selecting and booking a perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group requires. HUGE DISCOUNTS FOR AUGUST DATES - PICK ME- CHOOSE ME -LOVE ME has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually available on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Note any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many concerns.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
