Booking the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Booking your vacation home in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain offers and deals for local accommodations and attractions.

Finding the perfect vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Begin by choosing your potential vacation weeks and a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. B127: Your Ideal Coastal Retreat at Myrtle Beach Resort has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before you book your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or costs might be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you are enamored with, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

During your stay:

  • Get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. Call the rental manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
