How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Sticking to a spending plan:
- To book the best rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Selecting the perfect vacation rental:
- To start, have your family select vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Beach Getaway & Pet-Friendly Oceanfront Suite has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you book the vacation home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
- Looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking
- Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
More tips for your visit:
- Add the owner's contact info to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To make certain no damages are linked to your visit, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. Make contact with the rental manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many problems.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to stimulate future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
